Paul’s main expertise is in engineering and custom design of machinery and process systems. His customer list is long and varied. He has managed large staffs and small, and been an employee of large firms and small. While he was Vice President of Bulk Process Equipment and Bulk Process Systems, Inc. in Baltimore he managed capital projects up to $13 million, mainly in the bulk material handling and high speed packaging industries. Paul is exceptionally skilled at 2D and 3D and virtual equipment layouts, and at working as leader of a design team with customers. His attention to detail, getting it right the first time, and knowledge of the industry and general mechanical engineering principles are the cornerstone to our offering as president of PSD.

David Cloud recently served as the director of intellectual property strategy development for the Boeing enterprise. Dave has over 25 years of experience in aerospace with much of it in leadership roles including program management, technology development, engineering, operations and intellectual property. He is known across many industries as a technical leader and a strategic thinker with multiple global patents to his credit. Dave is a graduate of Villanova’s Executive MBA program and also has a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from Neumann University. He is a professor at Neumann University teaching systems thinking and strategic planning.
Charles Whittington Carr – Chief Engineer

With over 30 years’ experience in various engineering fields including Process Plants, Spray Drying, Sanitary and cGMP Compliant Systems, as well as FEA Analysis of structural frames Charlie brings solid expertise to round out PS&D engineering offerings.
Jeff Noland – Engineering Director
Overall 30 years experience int the Materials Handling and Process Systems engineering space-10 years VP of Systems – Shick Solutions – 1,000 projects delivered and many in baking. Rockwell Automation Solution Architect – St. Louis District. Jeff provides PS&D project management and controls engineering guidance.

Dear Customers,
I want to welcome you to our company, and assure you that we are committed to being diligent in performing any task for you that we can. We have many years of accumulated experience in systems design, 3D modeling, process development, and lots more. What really sets us apart from other companies is our ability to listen, understand what your needs are, and then give you just what you need and no more.
Our motto is “do it once and do it right”, and we are dedicated to that. We look around and see that so many projects run over budget, drag out in time that no one anticipated and include “extras” that the customer never asked for. We will do our best to work with you to give you just what you need. This means that we do a very good job of front end loading, putting engineering time into the project to design it, then carrying out what we have all agreed to. An old boss told me once “it is always best to make your plan, then work your plan”. Careful planning is the key to keeping the project cost low, and bringing the project in on time.
We also have a penchant for safety. We don’t want to see people get hurt, or to have equipment failures. Poor safety affects people’s lives, and causes costly downtime…..which leads to customer distrust of you! Therefore, we endeavor to practice with the greatest regard for good safe practices.
