Paul Homburg
President and Owner
Paul's expertise is engineering and design of systems. His customer list is long and varied. He has experience in engineering and equipment details, and document control. He has managed large staffs and small, and been an employee of large firms and small. While as Vice President of Bulk Process Equipment and Bulk Process Systems, Inc. in Baltimore he has taken responsibility for capital projects up to $13 million, mainly in the bulk material handling and high speed packaging industries. Paul is exceptionally skilled at 2D and 3D and virtual equipment layouts, and at working as leader of a design team with customers. His attention to detail, getting it right the first time, and knowledge of the industry and general mechanical engineering principles are the cornerstone to our offering as president and owner of PSD.
Robert Bentzel
Operations Manager
Rob's primary skills are organization, detail, and good technical industry knowledge. He is currently working on his AAS in electronic engineering. He envisions the company adding a service division as it expands. His experience in purchasing, project management, written proposals, presentations make him valuable in daily office operations. He has experience in industrial applications design, presentation of front end loading studies, bid meetings, pre-construction walk-throughs and customer service add to his value as an operations manager in the company.
Robert Boehner
Sales Management
Bob has over 30+ years experience as a sales engineer and sales manager with some of the largest bulk handling companies in the industry. He has work for such notable firm as Delta Ducon, DMN Rotary Valves and Shick Tube-veyor. Bob has conducted technical seminars, in Spanish, in Latin America, covering techniques and principles of pneumatic conveying, equipment maintenance and methods for handling bulk solids materials.
Ed Rowse
Sr. Engineering Consultant
Ed worked for E. I. DuPont de Nemours Company for 37 years as a professional engineer primarily in the plastics businesses. Ed's extensive experience includes world wide involvement in designing plants for plastics manufacture, recycling, project cost estimation and cost reduction, business modeling, and product development in research. Much of Ed's experience has to do with bulk handling and extrusion compounding. Since leaving DuPont in 2000, Ed has operated an engineering consulting business doing product development, business and marketing analysis and business development. Ed lectures in many parts of the world as a volunteer, notably in China's universities and in South America and Ukraine.
